Director Brian Lewis

Brian Lewis started in the bespoke tailoring trade in 1961. A hugely experienced cutter, he is steeped in the traditions of Savile Row. His name is on our Royal Warrant to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for tailoring.

Brian joined Meyer & Mortimer in 1963 working downstairs with coat-maker Len Stanley. In 1969, Brian's then boss, Mr Kruger, brought him upstairs to train him as a cutter and so began Brian's career dealing with customers. In 1990 he became director of the business.

Brian is our resident expert on British history, the military, the Royal Family and gardening. Read more about Mr Lewis in his Q&A here
